LANDSCAPES, BOOK 1

These are musical sketches of the natural landscape.

The pieces began to spontaneously pop into my mind and I would run to play them as they occurred, first playing what I had just heard in my head, and then continuing the melodies, improvising the continued flow and completing them on the spot.

Since they were all inspired by vivid thoughts of nature, it felt as though the pieces were simply revealing themselves rather than being something I was responsible for creating.
